Invoices for maintenance services will be sent at the beginning of each month. Invoices for installation services will be sent after they have been processed by accounts receivable. We are now offering two different payment options for maintenance services. One, all services during the year will be added together, and divided into 10 equal monthly installments. Monthly invoices for the \u201cequal payment option\u201d will be sent at the beginning of each month (beginning in March), and will consist of 1\/10th of your annual total. Additional service requests will be added to this invoice after the work is completed. This will make your lawn care bill consistent from month to month. To enroll in the \u201cequal payment option\u201d the contract must be signed and returned by February 15th. The second payment options is a month to month basis, or \u201cpay as you go\u201d where services will be invoiced as they are provided. Invoices for the \u201cpay as you go\u201d option will be accounted for as the month progresses, and an invoice for those services will be sent at the beginning of the following month. Payments are due on the 15th of each month. If payment is not received by the 20th there will be a 10% late fee on that invoice. Service will temporarily stop if account is assessed a late fee. Services will continue once account is current, and a credit card will be required to have on file.<\/p>\n
We are now accepting credit and debit card payments for a 3% processing fee. All major domestic cards are accepted. For international card processing,
\nplease contact SK Lawn Care as additional charges may apply. Declined transactions are subject to a 5% surcharge. Your safety and security is very
\nimportant to us. We adhere to all PCI regulations. We will keep all information (name, address, phone number, account information, and email address)
\nprivate and secure. To pay your bill with a credit or debit card, go to our website (www.sklawncarekc.com) and click on the \u201cPAY MY BILL\u201d button in
\nthe top menu. That will take you to a third party payment processing website where you can follow the instructions to make a payment with a credit or
\ndebit card. Our third party vendor adheres to a high level of security standards and maintains PCI compliance. You can also save your information to that device (phone, computer, etc.) so the site will recognize that device and save your information. This is not required but an added benefit. You may also call SK Lawn Care and we can process credit\/debit card payments over the phone. We want to make caring for your lawn as simple and accommodating as possible for you. All lawn and landscape services are done in a professional manner. Services are completed with the plants’ health, your property, and its values best interest. All products used adhere to EPA standards, and are chosen for first-class quality to exceed your expectations. We guarantee all workmanship, however certain services cannot be guaranteed due to environmental conditions. All plant material comes with a one year limited warranty (see below), and all hardscape projects come with a two year structural warranty. Acts of nature or negligence may void warranty(s). All maintenance contracts will
\nautomatically renew January 1st, unless otherwise discussed. Maintenance contracts are subject to a cancellation fee up to 10% of the total contract amount. SK Lawn Care is not liable for damage done to underground fixtures and\/or wiring for invisible fences, outdoor lighting, irrigation systems, and any other items not marked by utility locators. Damage done to irrigation systems may incur additional charges for time and material for repairs. It is the property owner\u2019s responsibility to inform and mark underground wiring not marked by utility locators. Timely servicing your property is important to us. Please understand delays may occur due to inclement weather. We will service your property according to your needs, our expert judgment, and scheduling availability. Please inform us if you have any scheduling conflicts or preferences. We will do our best to accommodate all needs. Routine service may temporarily stop if account is issued a late fee. Services will resume once account balance is corrected. For customized payment plans please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Landscape or hardscape installation contracts require a 50% deposit before the work begins, 25% when the work is half completed, and the remaining 25% will be invoiced after completion. Cancellation within two (2) weeks of scheduled landscape or hardscape installation contract is subject to 10% of total signed bid. Landscape or Hardscape designs have a minimum service charge of $250 for the first two hours of design, and $95 for each hour after. The cost for the design will be credited toward the project on the final invoice. Add-on\u2019s outside of the original scope of work require a separate work order and are billed at $95 per man hour plus material. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Your landscape is accompanied with a one (1) year limited warranty on the trees and shrubs installed by SK Lawn Care. Newly installed landscape plants
\nwill suffer transplant shock, particularly during the hot summer months. It is imperative that plants receive proper care, so as to minimize stress. Upon
\ninstallation it is then the responsibility of the owner to supply the plant with sufficient water and fertilizer (as needed) during the first year after installation to keep them healthy. SK Lawn Care will provide clients with watering guidelines for new plant material, however specific watering amounts and times may vary due to environmental conditions in the specific area where the plants are installed. It is the client\u2019s responsibility to monitor and adjust watering needs according to the specific environment of the plants location. Trees and shrubs are warranted for one year from date of installation, and will be replaced once within the warranty period, should they die. SK Lawn Care will provide plant warranty replacement free of charge on one visit. If client requests multiple visits for plant replacement, then there may be additional charges for labor and drive time.
\nSK Lawn Care will make warranty replacements during the optimum planti g seasons: spring and fall. Typically, replacements will take place between May 1st through June 30th and September 1st through November 15th. SK Lawn Care assumes no liability for replacement of plants killed or damaged by pests, insect infestation, abnormal weather conditions, or other conditions beyond our control, nor will we replace plants experiencing \u201cseasonal die-back\u201d, when pruning and proper care will restore them to health. SK Lawn Care cannot warranty against weed growth in mulch or topsoil beds, due to the germination of dormant seeds prevalent in the soil. This warranty shall be void and will not apply to any plants which were originally installed by SK Lawn Care then subsequently repaired, adjusted, moved or modified by an individual or entity other than SK Lawn Care. Annuals, perennials, bulbs, ground covers, sod, seed, and transplanted plant material are NOT covered under this or any other SK Lawn Care Warranty.<\/em><\/p>\n
